I have a ~450-500whp goal for now. I'm looking for a street bruiser with this build. Stock compression CP pistons with HD pins, Carrillo rods with CARR bolts, fully worked crank and cylinder head. AEM EMS. I want as much power as possible between 2500-5500. I still want to make power to redline obviously, but I want max hit down low. Overkill bottom end, but I'm looking for a one and done build (LOL) that I grow into if I wish.
Was thinking about +.5mm or 1.0mm Supertech valves too.
So, after talking to a custom cam company they came up with the following:
- intake: 252°@0.1mm/221°@1.0mm/8.51mm/1.27mm@110°/vc 0.200mm
- exhaust: 244°@0.1mm/213°@1.0mm/8.01mm/0.33mm@-120°/vc 0.200mm
If I convert to shimless they recommend these: (more lift)
- intake: 255°@0.1mm/223°@1.0mm/9.81mm/1.36mm@110°/vc 0.200mm
- exhaust: 242°@0.1mm/211°@1.0mm/8.99mm/0.26mm@-120°/vc 0.150mm
So, do you guys have any guidance? I'm still new to the engine game but I am obsessed with perfection.
