I have this shifter I kind of made.

and I just bought a new glass one from itsproper.com which i havent gotten yet.

I'd be careful of shifting too hard or fast, wouldn't want to break that... or is it metal?

i just chuckle thinking of the throw that thing must have...and how would would sit like a rat fink character in it....i love it...+1 for originality.

HA thanks guys, and yea I actually do drive with it. It isnt hard to shift or get in my way or anything. As for what is made of, well the base that is matched up to the shifter is metal and the whole top part is wood.

That colour is bad ass, my old roommate has an 85 Toyota pick up that he painted that colour lol. And as for my shift knob, I thought all Toyota shifters had the same threads or am I wrong here? I had to drill this one out a bit to make it fit.

they use to back in the day. the FWD cars have the original small threads, where the RWD cars had a bigger shift lever. im guessing they may have used a thicker shifter to handle hard shifting, but i could be dead wrong.

Grenade launcher casing?? I never even thought of that haha, looks like wornoutsupra needs that to go with his camo colored Supra.
