Couldn't find a thread on custom/ after market shifter knobs, perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough. So I figured I would start one. I got this knob from my friend months ago and finally drilled it out to fit, it's total old school and I have no idea what it is out of. Enjoy and post up yours!

I had a carbon fiber, weighted TRD knob on mine. Still have that thing kickin' around somewhere, but no transmission to put it on yet. LOL.

Jrot, you and Chambers have my vote so far for coolest knob (in as straight a way as that can sound haha)... I kinda wanted to cut a few inches off my 1j's stock cams and drill and thread one end of it. But, I kinda like the Greddy one I have. Thing weighs about 2lbs.

Chambers, where did you find that thing man, early 70's Celica?

you can have one....my cousin casts them himself in his shop right here in wichita KS.....you can even have them custom painted....this one he had kicking around and just happened to match...so we did the sogi mod and threaded this bad boy on....this is his site...hes a cool dude and you could just call and talk to him if you want something custom(paint wise cause the custom casts are pricey)http://vanchase.com/...go check his stuff out though....every one is hand cast and hand painted...nice quality automotive paint.....had a different one on my truck on the hood for years and it looked brand new after sever rock climes and mud holes....not talking him up just cause hes my cousin either i just really like the product....

Haha thanks, we can only hope! :)

I actually found it at a car thing in Carlise, PA. A guy had a huge selection of knobs "(in as straight a way as that can sound haha)", and he had that one and a couple other Toyota ones, the black one was the last. It was the display, the guy said there is very little chance they will be made again. Somthing about the manufacture of the emblems went under, so yea, not sure if it was BS, but I scooped it up.

Here is the other:

i could always talk to him about a group buy too....i dont know if there would be enough interest or not....and i doubt he would hold us to kind or color...he might just give us a discount if we bought X amount of peices....but either way drop him a line on facebook or email...im sure he would enjoy the compliment....i would haha...

TWM makes some great shift knobs, they are pricey though.

jrot, your cousin make some nice pieces there. Personally if I got anything from there the wolf in top hat is dope and the eyeball is insane! Eyeballs are cool lol, blame my father for me feeling this way, he's had his eyeball painted on his Harley ever since I was a little kid lol

they are crazy sturdy too....he dropped them from sevral stories up and they only slightly chip the paint....price is kinda high but for hand made in the US not to bad...its a cool process...im gonna try to see if he will make a vid of how he does it from sculpting to finish...dont know if he will but it would be cool.....glad you guys dig it though....
