So my car started to over heat. My question is could it b because my intercooler hose split (top piece that goes into throttle body pipe)?

Probably not but that isn't going to help anything, and its not going to run if its a significant leak. Make sure there's water in the overflow, and don't remove the radiator cap until it has cooled down. How bad did it overheat? Make sure there's no leaks anywhere, was there any exhaust smoke?
The guage went all the Way up overflow filled but didn't dump water. It wasn't smoking and did not take but 2 minutes for fan to sit off and to take all the water back from overflow
Look for leaks, it shouldn't have been empty. Check the rubber plug behind the exhaust manifold, and the 2 elbows (one at the back of the head, one under the thermostat housing), those tend to get old and blow off or burst.
There's no leaks or fluid on the ground but ill check

did it overheat on the highway, or off the street? Could be a fan clutch...OR A BAD HEAD GASKET!!!!!! OH THE HORROR!!!
Or a radiator.. Mine used to be fine on the streets but would overheat only on the highway.. Ended up being a plugged radiator

It overheated on street fan clutch has about 4k miles on it max

Throw slurpees at it. Is the floor wet on your passenger side? Does your heat work? Change your thermostat, it's like $8.
