i haven't changed from stock exhaust except just changed my elbow to 3in, but i cant make my mind up on what exhaust suits me best. i was curious what others have done. as far as size, brand if any, routing. i had the idea of running to the front of the rear tires to use the heat to warm my tires. but i think it may be to loud.maybe just duels out the back with no muffler i don't know whats your opinion?

There was just a discussion of this about a week ago. Just look through the list for a bit and you'll find it.

3"-3.5" downpipe , 3.5" midpipe into 4" out the back. When going that big there really isnt any choice but to just go under the dif. You loose ground clearance but you got to make sacrafices.

4" from the turbo back to just in front of the diff, then split into double 3" pipes that route either side of the diff.

Disclaimer... building this system was rather ridiculously expensive. More than most cars. More than double most cars, for that matter.

Grim that exhaust sounds amazing though!
Mine is 3" turbo-back all the way to a flowmaster muffler. I can grab a video of the exhaust note and post it if you'd like.

Grim, just curious but aren't you worried about heat inside the diff? Have you done anything to help prevent the diff getting hotter than normal?

It looks like there should be enough airflow around/under/over the diff. Must use synthetic fluid to hang with the heat. Can you believe that after looking at the photo 3 times I didn't notice it until you said something.

Haha, I noticed it as soon as I saw the picture. I just don't like the idea of added heat to the diff without a way to monitor/cool the diff fluid. It has no where to go other than churn in its own fluid/heat.

I haven't had any problems... however, I'm not exactly the usual setup, either, I have a Cusco rear diff *and* I use Motul synthetic fluid, *and* I change it regularly.
Problem solved. Just wondering how often do you change the fluid?
