Ok well, I go to college and have always put school first.
I dont like loans or to take out money, so I pay for school myself, and for rent, bills ect.
This isnt a Im poor post BTW, Like I've always said School first rest later. Well I took the insurance off my supra and she is in my parents garage. I feel like im in HS again with no car. IT FUCKING SUCKS.
Well I have really had some depressing times when she was removed and garaged in late Nov. so its been about a month and a week. Just last night I was stuck in traffic with a friend, and a 300zx was right next to us, for 30 mins I stared at this car and felt like shit, like I lost a part of me. I have never felt like crap over an object. I wanna put insurance back on my car and eat ramon noodles for 6 months rather than live with out my car for another 3 months. college is paid for this semester and ive got rent money down. Its driving me crazy.
So anyone have any cures, because I know alot of you have your cars under the knife for extended periods of time. What do you do to get over it?

Dude at least your parents didnt make you sell the supra when you went away to college....My supra is leaving on Friday forever and going to EdgeSupra on here. I cannot imagine what I am going to do....

I'm trying to get a body, so I can eventually have another supra....

i just hang out with friends and try and keep my mind off the car. thats the only way i can handle it. its been so long since i have driven it i almost forget what it feels like.

It's not easy, that's for sure. Occupy yourself. I've been without my old car for 2 months, and everytime I see a MkIII on the road, it sticks out. I hate to say it, but hanging around on this forum isn't going to help you any, either.

Buy something else to dump money into, that helps me...stupid truck.....

It's really hard having the car parked for long periods of time. Mine has been down since middle of July.

My car went down like 2 weeks ago.. And wont be back till i have it fully built... So quite a while. I wanted to just curl up in a ball for a while. I've been driving my moms chevy tracker and my dad f150(luckily it's a manual so it's ok). I should be getting a new job soon, So i'll probably get an old toyota truck to haul shit and DD. BUt still sucks I miss the power :(.

SO, yeah preoccupy yourself I started playing WoW again which is a life drain, so that work. But I can't stop thinking about the supra.

We are all in the same boat supraless for the while. It's sad, but "we shall overcome!"

I store mine 6 months out of the year!!! How I cope is SM and then I go sit in it every other week or so. That seems to work for me!!!! If your car is to far away to sit in try porn that makes me happy too......:icon_bigg

Thats what I was going to rec. Find little ways to make it better, and just stay preoccupied.
