CT26 year differences or what? Pics inside.

I have 2 ct26 turbos here from a different year supras.
One has the wastgate feed closer then the other.
Notice where the wastegate is drilled for pressure.

Is there any difference on these besides this?
Both say 42010 for the exhaust housing one (first pic) has a rubber shield on the wastegate rod.
They both say A on the housing as well.
Someone on SF said he has only seen the lower style.

Same here, maybe they bolted the actuator to a ct26 from a 3sgte?

It doesn't matter.. Its still see's the same amount of boost. I have only seen the bottom two personally on a real OEM CT26.. Most of the CXRacing or godspeed CT 26's have the port like the top one..

As I recall, that's the year difference - pre 98 vs post 89, and is what was supposed to be responsible for the higher HP rating on the post 89. Note this line in the specs and year changes thread:

Horsepower up to 232hp (from 230hp), torque up to 254ft-lbs (from 246ft-lbs)

Its only a model year change. Nothing more. Don't know why Toyota changed the port, but never the less it doesn't hurt or help any thing.
