C's Shifter Owners Please Come IN!

Curious as to how the shifter piece where the knob threads to "locks" or "sets" onto the other part of the shifter, I can just put mine on and it take it off, it looks like its designed to have some sort of locking pin on it where the small hole in the bottom of the top shifter part and the top of lower shifter part is.

Or if anyone has the instructions, you would be so awesome if you could post pictures of the instructions or know where I could view them online?

im assuming there should be a locking nut.
i dont have a c's shifter, but mine is similar

Zum, it's the big 'thick' part - it just comes right off in Jeff's car.

That said, I got to play with the C's a little - very short shifts! I wish there was a spring loaded mechanism to find 3rd faster, tho

John this thing is plenty short I love this thing. And yes I'm looking on how the top shifter shaft piece locks onto the lower shift shaft piece.
