Unless we get on the interstate, we won't get over 20MPH anywhere along the coast of Mississippi. And, even on the interstate, it's like a rolling car show with all of the cars that show up to this thing.

It seems the Honda guys find me funny and entertaining. I'm also a horsepower'd God over there. I'll check in on this site from time to time though.

they only laugh at you cause they make more power than you do torque:evil2: and their motors don't blow up when they go to car shows and get 30mpg:aigo:

Noah, I didn't mean that you where lying, and since you can't give Jay any more torque grief, I guess the blowing up motors will do.:sarcasm:

Took car in for alignment. When backing car up exhaust got caught up, forcing fan into radiator, causing damage. Was a good thing that I'm only 1 mile from the shop. I pulled into the garage and saw steam coming wtf...pop the hood and the fan was jammed up.:3d_frown:

So are your motor mounts OK? How much movement of the motor was there? Is the exhaust OK? Which car, the 89 or 92?

The 89. Everything seems okay. How would you check the motor mounts? I might be heading back over there to check everything out.

If the mounts aren't torn all the way, they more than likely are damaged...

Would be safer to replace them and the tranny mount...

On a 7M, it doesn't take much movement to get the fan to touch the radiator. Hopefully since you weren't moving very fast, it was just a little flex.

It's either 89+ mounts, or the 2J mounts...

from what i understand, if you have 89+ mounts (round), a 2j should fit onto them.

It should be fine as the only way to check is get a hoist and lift the engine. There's no way in hell that these guys are going to be doing that.

If they're orginal 89+ mounts and they're torn, you'll notice fluid (they're fluid filled)

If they used the MKIV 2J mounts, just make sure they're straight and they're probably fine...
