Still waiting on getting the Supra back. I haven't driven it in 2 years... BHG == rebuilt motor, trans, and tons of mods.
I am a bit nervous getting it back. I am going from having just an exhaust, downpipe, testpipe, turbo elbow, and intake to all the stuff in my profile minus the Driveshaft. (I need to call the driveshaft place and have them send me the correct driveshaft)
I will do that. I have wanted to get a small local meet setup for a while and meet other Supra owners in the area.
Planning a date for a mk3 meet with Rob.... I know Dustin is down... Right now we are thinking mid september...
Ehh...Too bad you guys wouldn't be willing to hit up a road trip to Louisville, KY! C'mon pansies, me and group of guys from Indiana/Kentucky met up in the morning and drove to Chicago for Chi2k6 (BTW, were any of you guys there?). But yeah, September 23rd, there is working up to be a pretty decent sized meet and we'll be getting some dyno time in for pretty cheap, too...So, y'all can count me out.
Besides...you guys wanted a "cruise". So, cruise your butts down to Louisville!
I made it from Gary, IN to Indy in just under 2 hours...'course I was playing cat and mouse with this M3 the whole way back home...But still. SS Indy is about an hour away from Louisville. Anyone? :icon_surp

There will be a D.O.T. street race at Byron, they call it something different this year though, i will post more info, im shooting for running in that, You have to drive car from Cherryvale mall to Byron, then race, street legal tires and mufflers required. I think its Sept 17th.

So whats the deal with the 17th at byron? I was there over the weekend and ran a 12.8 at 107, i know i can do better so i figured i would go again this coming weekend to see what i can do. It would be nice to get more mkIII guys up there. Anyone around the area think they can make it? Let me know.
The rockford pro street is still on the schedule on Byron website, although i cant find any info for what time, when meeting at cherryval, etc. If I get an answer I will post before the weekend. Im still waiting on my part from MDC to get car together, supposed to be here tomorrow. So, i dont think I will race but still want to test and tune if possible.
I just set the turbo in last night, so I have to make intercooler piping on the hot side, lengthen my down pipe, change oil, drill hole on cold side for temp sensor, and a few other things to do, plus whatever comes up once running. I think I will have it running, but probably not to the track til at least next weekend, I wont get it running and go straight to racing, If it drives well this week, I will run it next Sat probably.
Im hoping to pick up some timeslips Sat at Byron, just hope my t-bolts come in so I can up the boost.
