I don't know if I'll keep the intercooler pipe there. I might for now, but since I have the motor out to upgrade HG and Head Bolts to ARPs, I might throw in the intercooler right away. Not sure. I took the motor out to do some work, then started working on my MKIII...we'll see.

So you're not running any fuel management at all? You usually need at least a rising rate fpr or something to add fuel with boost, most N/A ECUs do a really bad job of adjusting for boost.

Hey guys,

Sorry, I've been pretty busy with other things.

Ok, about the Cressy...I'll just note on here what I've been doing since I'm not going to open a build thread for it...

Sooo, this is the last time I undertake two projects like this at once...:nono:

Right now, the Cressy is completely stock, except for the CT-26 turbo/filter/Blitz BOV and DP.

The upgrades I'll be doing now are:

- 440cc Fuel Injectors
- GTE ECU and Harness
- HKS MHG
- ARP Head Bolts
- Fresh Rebuilt Long block. (3 angle job on the head)
- W58 5sp swap w/ brand new OEM clutch kit & Flywheel
- Intercooler
- Full 3" custom exhaust
- maybe drop it 1.7" & wheels

I think that's it for now...

Dok33 - Are your TT wheels 8 front 9.5 rears??? I tried them on the Cressida and from what I remember the 9.5" rear sat to far out past the edge of the Q-panel...

I'll post pics of the install later. This way people can see how I did the oil/coolant lines, etc.

Wow, all kinds of Cressida guys here. I used to be on the Thermactor forums way back when, sold my '92 a few years ago:

I remember you from thermactor, which now, sadly, has changed leadership and the new website is www.toyotacressida.net

Sadly because its now like Toyotas new STAR system on there cars. Traction Control, brake assist, Electronic brake distribution, Vehicle Stability Control and whatever the last one is and you can't shut it off. You say one bad word and your banned :D

For the good, visually, it looks way more modern now and its easy to use thanks to VB. But thats all I can say about www.toyotacressida.net

The ultimate website that i know of for modding Cressidas has to be www.JZXproject.com I see alot of projects going on in there compared to tc.net

Sorry for the high jack.

Back to your Cressida. What year ECU/harness will you be using on your Cressida? Make sure to steal the turbo tach motor form a Supra turbo or else your gonna be staring at a limp tach :naughty:

I advise you use the 89-92 harness. Its alil less confusing. Trust me, I have both. My Gold Cressida (My favorite and my one and only love) is usisng the horrid 87 harnesss/ecu (Sorry goldy), and my blue one is using the 90 harnesss and ECU. Goldy took 5 hours to wire with tons of patients sand looking back and fourth at the wire diagrams, and blue Cressisda took 2hrs.

Sounds like a fun project, I had plans to turbo mine but decided to build a Supra instead. TT wheels stuck out a little in the rear but tucked nicely after I rolled the fenders (Lousville slugger style :naughty: ).
