had a friend ask me if this was possible, and my first reaction is that it isn't, but I thought I'd get on here and ask you fine folks if you've ever heard of it done...

...I searched to no avail, and I realize that everything could be done with the funding to do so, but I'm talking about a remotely bolt-on affair.

I can respect the custom work the would go into a front end conversion, but I just can't understand why you would do it.

Am I the only one that thinks the Soapra looks a lot like a sileighty?

Jose's car is probably the best conversion done to date. a lot of $$$ was put into it and it came out flawlessly. if you take a quick glance, it MAY appear as a sileighty, but not really. it noticeably different. and I've had the privelage to ride in and work on it. It's not your average car.

as for the cressida front end on the supra. my crazy buddy wanted to do it (Justin  aka, Project_N00B) , but was told that the cressida front end is too long, IIRC. after seeing the soapra, i don't think any front end conversion would look right. but it's just my opinion.

well, he's picking up an 89 cressida for nothing because the motor's screwed and we're thinking about attempting this on one of our parts cars for the hell of it...

...if the front end is too long I can use half of a stock fender and graft the two of them together. I don't know, I'll just have to check it out.

I do, however, love the soapra concept, and I think that car is beautiful.

WHY would you want to put a Cressida front end on a Supra? The Supra front is so much more interesting... the Cressida is a very average looking car, IMO...why not do a Camry front end conversion? It would make just as much sense...

With that said...I do like the Soapra. It's very unique and distinguished...especially since the Soarer was never sold in the states.
