CrankShaft balancer bolt will not fit in the hub of an ATI Super Damper???

Just installed a ATI super damper and the factory 7m Crank bolt will not fit in the hub of the ATI?

The stock bolt has a big hub or flange that will not fit. Any suggestions???

or rather is this what ATI calls a Crank Hub??? See url.

That is not an ATI super damper that is an ATI hub that bolts to the front of the ATI super damper. The crankshaft bolt would go on the damper then the hub would bolt to the front after the crankshaft bolt has been instaled first.

The bolt has to be turned down (I suggest getting a new one as they're cheap and covered in 20 years of rust)

Bolt flange needs to be cut down to ~45mm.

Yep

the crankshaft bolt has to be turned down to about 45mm (A very OLD thread.. jdub turned it down to 1.804" and it fit perfectly). That it how it has been from prototype to now.
