'87 7mgte. blew original engine, finishing the jdm replacement.

it just turns over and over and over... with some popping sound?

and the clutch has zero pressure, we tried bleeding the lines but it didn't seem to work. clogged maybe?

Help?

Mine cranks but no fire Just a pop. I will adjust my timing. May be cams or crank was not absolute TDC when installing timing belt.

Pop could be from the CPS or timing not being right. Did you check your master cylinder inside the car? Sometimes they leak and they're no good, also check the lines for any leaks and the slave cylinder.

and does anyone else have an extra brown plug on top towards the back of the engine bay? ive searched for good wiring diagrams but with no success.

Assuming your clutch hydraulic system is working correctly, make sure the slave cylinder piston rod is actually on the clutch fork. Otherwise it will just hyper extend and piss fluid. JDM engine? I really hope you are either using a JDM ecu or installed your old EGR system on the new motor.

the front left part of the engine? i replaced any parts i could on the engine except there's a hose the size of a coin coming out the back left of the engine that's plugged??

and i broke the hose on the bottom of the canister but i figured that didn't matter since it went no where?

i will take pictures of everything tomorrow with an update after i check everything you said.

we found where the extra plug went. what is this hose coming out the back? its not plugged on the parts car, do i need to swap this over?

i really don't know much about this car or cars period. this turned out to be a father/son project 3 years after my friend with "experience" couldn't finish it so forgive me for lack of knowledge.

alright, so it started after like 5 minutes of trying, and the master cylinder rusted so we replaced it. runs good now.
