Find a machine shop with a CBN machine and make sure they have the instrument to measure RA spec, I forgot the name of it... I had the same problem with a machine shop I called yesterday. I told them I needed the head and block flat with an RA spec down to at least 15, he said, "is that rough or smooth?" That was all the answer I needed ;).

Thats exactly what I did, and i didn't ask for IJ's help on that one :biglaugh:

Mine was torqued so hard, it snapped a flywheel bolt, so i used 2 or 3, then we were torquing it so hard it was bending the engine stand down, so I propped up the crank pulley with a 2x4 so it wouldn't flex down, then ratchet-strapped the engine stand to a cherry picker so it wouldn't fall over :icon_bigg
