I just removed my crank bolt but I can't seem to shake the crank pulley off. I assumed it would just slip out. (I had an integra before)

So now I'm stuck; I consulted the TSRM and it notes that you should use a special tool to remove both the crank pulley and timing pulley. So I'm asking if anyone remembers and techniques or tools they used to remove their crank pulleys?

My guess would just be the generic crank pulley remover? Someone chime in please!

Thanks in advance y'all!

anybody know the specs that we need to look for in a puller? will the standard autoparts puller work?

what's the bolt size and thread pitch I need to look for?

I just got the generic one that has different size bolts shaped like a "Y" with a middle finger :)

Lol I went and tried THREE different kits. The last one (the lucky-charm looking one with the middle finger) somewhat worked. I ended up trying to bang it out with a hammer, and yes it chipped like mad.

So then I took a huge crowbar and just pried the damn thing off. (I have a spare pulley anyways).

But yeah it came off after some work, haha.
