crank, no start

well i have a 87, 7mgte of course. i jus recently replaced valve cover gaskets followed up with an oil change.. i started her up, it was beautiful :love: .. let her runnin for about 10 minutes , i wanted to hear her perr so i rev her a few time buh once i hit 2grand she died on meh... havent got her to run since.. she cranks to the point where shes about to start buh just doesnt, u could even see very little exhaust fumes comin out of the muffler... i checked all spark plugs, distributor, battery's runnin 12 volts nd 5 amps, starters good.. im jus clueless at this point now.. any help would be greatly appreciated :1zhelp:

Check the wires on the CPS, they sometimes get crossed or poor contacts. Try moving them around a bit. Also, If you did the valve cover gaskets, you messed with the coil/igniter connection. try wiggling that a bit.

i have the same problem and now im starting to check all of my ignition wiring because even if there is one break it will not start

Did it throw any codes? Check for codes, and make sure you dont have a fuel leak anywhere, it may have had fuel in the lines and then the lines couldve ran out, which could explain why the motor suddenly died.
