crank keyway removal/install?

My new motor is almost ready to go in, but it is missing the front key for the keyway for the harmonic balancer. I have another new motor. Can i take the key way out of one, and install it in the other? Whats the best way to go about removing the key outof the keyway without damaging it?

You could, but why not just pick up another one from Toyota? They cost literally pocket change... I think my last one was $2.

They should slide in and out by hand or with a VERY light tap from a flat head screwdriver.
