Does anyone know where i can get the CPS harness side plug? when my CPS was giving me problems again, i decided to just cut the old plug and solder the wires together. When i stripped the plastic coating off the wires they were all green and nasty looking. Decided to clean them with electrical cleaner and solder it anyways, but when i went to test drive it the engine light popped up about a block away from my house and again its code 52. im getting a used cps for $125 from a local toyota recycling yard but i just need a new harness side plug. So if any of you know where i can get one, that would be awesome. if not oh wells, the car starts but just doesn't want to accelerate.

Code 52 is the knock sensor...if the car starts and runs, then your problem isn't the CPS...check the wiring to the knock sensors...if they aren't connected properly the car will run like crap, and flash the code 52.

for what it's worth, there are several other things on the 7M that use the same connector. the ignitor for both turbo and N/A, the coilpacks for both turbo and N/A, the CPS, the distributor on N/A's, and i think there are a few more that i can't remember.
