CPS wiring

I messed up the CPS wiring when i took out the pins out of the male side (off the harness). Two wires where hanging on by only one strand.

I was wondering if anyone knows witch go to witch THANKS

Female - 1.Orange 2.Green 3.Yellow 4.Brown

Male - ?Brown ?Black ?Gray ?Orange/red-ish

Note: this is for a 88 turbo, 89+ is different

Usually, if you just let the wires align themselves, expecially old ones, they'll tell you where they need to go. If not, I'll look at my 87 manual when I get a chance and let you know what I see. I had those wires come out before, and we ended up hardwiring the thing... bad idea without some serious heat insulation!

Shaeff! i've seen you much on the forums and add much.... but you posted the same thing in the other forum too! lololol

Thanks, but those are not the colors for my Cam Position Sensor.. Thanks tho!

NOTE: 88 turbo (different from 89+, but same as 87)

Yea, I was about to say... I manually wired my CPS... and Shaeff is correct...

one wire may look blue... but if you trace it in the harness, it is green

88 and 89 are different.. antman Has to have an 88-, The colors are way off... i looked at the wiring diagram and Shaeff was right... but its for a 89+. And i could not find a 88 wiring diagram for the likes of me.

I think you would want a connector that is water proof...
You could always use a molex connector and put silicone on the black so water does not go in or use insulation tape.
