cps total rebuild??

hey guys, im planning on doing some wiring work, the wires to the cps are crap, gonna put in new wires and connecters/plugs. but the wires inside the cps arent any better (they have some corrosion and oil), now ive seen ppl do rebuild cps kits on here but they never seem to touch the wires inside the cps, is there any way to replace them? or do i gotta get a new cps? because the contacts/points in the cps that the wires attach to dont look like they open, i think. any info on this is appreciated, thanks.

Used to be able to buy a kit but I'm not sure if it's still available

Don't think you can buy the Reluctors/Pickups on their own you have to buy a complete unit, last one I bought was $600 AUD from memory.

yep that what that i was thinking, i guess ill check the resistance in the wires and decide if i wanna buy another cps or rebuild this on with one of those kits, thanks guys.

kbox engineering and twosrus both sell a full kit with bearings, seals, pin etc all you need to do the above mentioned rebuild.
