Actually now that i think about it, After reading that thread its only really 1 thing. He said the crush sleeve wears out and itll loosen the nut over time. If the nut is loose its a good chance my crush sleeve is causing it right? so thats the problem.....Im not 100% sure on that but it sounds logical to me.

Im sure your problem with the play is from the sleeve, but depending on how bad it is and how long its been like that, there may be some collateral damage either on the ring and pinion gears or pinion bearing.
If you have a leak coming from behind the pinion nut, out of the flange, its leaking past the pinion yoke splines. Make sure some PTFE teflon pipe sealant is installed on the splines during reassembly. (Dunno if PTFE teflon pipe sealant is a toyota term) I am a GM tech and thats what GM calls it.

Im not 100% sure on that the leaking place but thats exactly where it looks like its coming from, You can see the oil coming out from between the 2 flanges and it lines up with the sling patterns on the buttom side of my car. The rest of the diff and subframe are dry which is why in my other thread i doubted the seal itself leaking.

Ill keep the sealant in mind tho thanks!

ive been talking to toyota actually bothering the hell out of them and they finally printed me out the entire rebuild manual it looks c hallenging but doable

if youn drop it i would rebuild the whole thing probably cost you 200 or so

Little update. I finally sold my omni so ill be buying the jawsgear kit and hopefully nothing but the bearings is messed up. I still gotta take care of the driveshaft but i have the money for the diff so im gonna do it now and not drive the car until i do the DS.

Another question, I assume i have to break these bearings in and normally like we did on the dakota we used some crappy gear oil to break it in but its a gear type LSD, Im not real sure how i go about that with a clutch type? Is it ok just to put royal purple or redline back in it after the bearings or will i mess something up?
