hey i have the action stage 3 pressure plate from driftmotion and a few thousand miles ago i took the flywheel and pressure plate to get resurfaced and and i now know that resurfacing the pressure plate is bad. anyways i dont know how much they took off the pressure plate and i want to remove that same amount of material from the surface that mounts to the flywheel to put the same distance between it and the flywheel as stock(i had some problems with the clutch slipping alot). so does anyone know the measurment of the pressure place clutch surface to the pressure plate to flywheel mounting surface? thanks PS: r154 pressure plate not w58.

heres a pic of what i need

um, go to the machine shop, what ever they took off of "blue" they could do to "red".... i have never heard of resurfacing the PP... You would think the machine shop would say NO wont do it but then again if they are hurting for cash they will do what you request.

well i put the new clutch disc on my new flywheel which is stepped to .5mm (.020") then put the pressure plate ontop of that and without bolting it together the distance between the flywheel to pressure plate mounts is 2.5mm. is that enough? or does that gap need to be bigger?
