That is not a "grade" though, that is some fancy bullshit to make people that don't know any better think the manifold is good.

if somebody wants to send one to me, I'll tell you what it is...might cost you a manifold though :)

"Recomend" is the key word.

Do you have a picture of any of the 7MGTE SSAC manifolds cracking from the weight of the turbo on the welds? Or is it speculation. Of course I think it is an excellent idea to add bracing, it cant hurt, but is there any proof of the 7mgte SSAC manifold cracking from that reason?

I don't, nor do I really care. The stock bracing was put there for a reason, just like Nick said, it's not a usless item to throw away and should be incorporated into any new designed manifold made unless they have an alternate bracing mounting point made up already, doesn't really have to be in the same location as the stock piece.

If you want to argue all day long on knockoff manifolds, go find the approcpriate older threads to do so, I'm sure there are plenty of people to preocupy your time on those threads, but that's not what this one is intended for. This one is here to notify members who didn't know about this good deal on a cast manifold. Now we just need to know what type of metals are actually used in it... And I do agree that a copy of the longrunner would be nice too ;).

I'd say even if it wasn't made of the best stuff (most likely not) a good inside and ouside coating of 2000 degree ceramic should do the trick along with bracing the manifold ;).
