I need to install a coolant temp gauge since I am fed up with trying to get the stock gauge to work. Does anyone know the thread size of the coolant temp sensor for the gauge?? I know there are I think 3 different coolant temp sensors on the tstat housing, but the one I need to know is for the gauge only..

Im confused.. where you labeled your radiator cooling fan sensor switch, i thought that was the coolant temp. sensor....
The plug is broken off of that sensor on my car, can you tell me how many wires are by that connector?
Thanks

you are in luck.....

1/4 BSPT!!

Not to be confused with 1/4 NPT!!!

basically the diff is one thread per inch(1/4"-28 NPT v 1/4"-29 BSPT) ie you try to force it you WILL cross thread it!

yep hes right. mine is 1/2 BSPT.
On the topic of threads, does anyone know if a 1/8 NPT will work for our oil pressure gauges? and if not anyone know of a place to buy an adapter?
