Thanks, I cleaned out the whole overflow tank/floater. But it doesn't seem to have made a difference. The light is still on. I didn't know how to take that whole float thing off the bottom without breaking it. Does it clip or screw in? I was worried I would break it before asking. I just sprayed some high pressure water toward the bottom of it and cleaned it, but now I think I should take it out and clean it more thoroughly...

Check continuity across the terminals of the sensor. You should have continuity across it when the tank is empty, and it should be open when the tank is full. Make sure the float rises when you fill it.

^Your logic is flawed.

Mine never comes on cause the reservoir has the proper amount of fluid in it.

WOW I'm glad I read this thread. My light has been on for a few days and I was having the same questions as you s!ke. This just gave me at least a direction in where to look tomorrow when I'm off work.
