So i stoped at a gas station filled my car up and went to go get back in and noticed a hint of ANTI Freeze in the air look under the car to see it dripping all over the ground.
So i jacked up the car and got under there and it was dripping from the front of the motor by one of the belt pulleys. Above the 2 lines that i want to say are the lower radiator hose.

I could not see anything to indicate exactly were it was from. I ended up filling it up with more coolant and had some one follow me home about 15-20miles did not leak when it was on did not over heat at all but as soon as i got it into the driveway left it idling for 30seconds started leaking but car was still not overheating running normal temps.

Any idea where my leak is? Anything would be helpful.

Thanks In advance
-Jordan

Check the turbo coolant lines (easy). Next is the 90 deg hose from the hard line around the block to the bottom of the water neck...unfortunately, this is the more likely. If any of these lines pop, you will lose ALL of your coolant in a very short time.

I just had the lower turbo coolant line spring a leak. It would leak while I was driving it. But as soon as I would stop the pressure would cause it to spew out. Not to hard to change.

My supra is stock and I now know what my first mod will be. A new Intake!! Just because its a PITA to take off for every little thing.

Good advice. Your local parts store might have one, to.

Water pump is in that general area as well.

It lost coolant but the first time i only had to put about 44oz cup worth of water in it and it was full again.

Then drove it all the way home

Why?? Well on second thought may you don't, I just thought the thermostat has to open so you can presurize the block past the thermostat. You know what, I think your right, me wrong..:nono:

My bet is the 90* hose. You will begin to have thoughts of relocating your power steering reservoir during this repair.

Agreed. I blew that hose once. Emptied the coolant in a hurry. I blew it 45 min away from home and had to change it on the side of the road. I was not impressed. When my new engine goes it, ALL coolant hoses will be new.

I had this exact problem, and the hose running to the turbo was the culprit. It was actually crystallizing and I went and bought the replacement. On the way home from buying the replacement, it burst. Lost all my coolant by the time I pulled over. I could shred this hose with my fingers after the burst.

I couldn't see the leak because it was right where the clamps were and would only spray out while driving.

kinda already knew that, hence why i asked:3d_frown:

it pressurizes the entire system as there is no blockage on the lower hose

And i hope its not a head gasket :( I don't think it is wouldn't overheat if it was?
mine never did, it was just a pinhole type leak at the corner of the block/head junction. id think that mine was a rare case though. i innitially thought it was the 90 hose

I think it is the water pump seems to be where it is coming from. I hope it is atleast since i have a brand new pump lol.

Also i have a MHG so i think i can rule that out :)

Pull out your intake/AFM assembly and then pull the power steering reservior and look at the bottom of your Thermostat Housing......also say a little prayer that the hose clamps are in the right position or you may have to jerk the Rad too.
