Coolant Hose/leak Question

its probably the hose. i suggest you invest in a new one as well as screw-style clamps rather than the wire ones you can currently see pinching the crap out of stock hoses.

that hose leaked on my GE. i'd drain the coolant, or just some of it depending on when it was last flushed, and remove the hose, check it over for holes and try to take a look at the fitting. on mine, since i used toyota red coolant, i could see that the hose was leaking because it left a trail of maroon stain ABOVE the fitting as if the hose took a dump down onto it, and not a leak coming from the metal/washer/metal seal of the actual fitting.

if you can't see it just take a look at the hose very carefully. if you're worried and can get to it you could take that fitting off but i think you need a pretty big-arsed socket/wrench to do so. i'd suspect the hose first, and replace it either way because it's aged and all coolant lines are vital obviously. go from there.
