Nope, it wouldn't be possible, because the end taillight 89+ pieces are a bit wider than the pre-89's...if you put the 89+ center piece in between two pre-89 lights, there would be a pretty big gap on either side...sorry.

Johnathan1, wait until you see what the modded tails that I sent you look like in person. I think you will like them. In my opinion they update the look of the 87 tails without doing the standard "everyone has em" 89+mod. If I were you, and wanted something different I would look at doing something trick with the center section. If you ask me thats the only downfall of the pre89 tail. I would like to see something sort of like zooloos only not as shallow, and with the plate lights at the top of the "notch" instead of the sides. Then round in all the edges. I dont think it would be that hard to do.

Just go with the 89+ 3 peice tails and paint the center lens. Done. Easy.
