Cool/Rare parts thread?

Did you happen to see any LIPP FFIM's on that shelf? Always wondered if any ever made their way into member's rides. I have yet to see one installed and in use. Just mocked-up by Greg.

That is about all that has been done. Just mock up. I have seen the tooling to make them, the plastic and metal prototypes of his FFIM, but the casting plant wanted way to much $$$$$ to cast them. The story kind of goes like this cliff notes ;
Lots of steam at first( R&D), tooling is done, prototype(s) done, casting plant wants too much $$$$ to cast them, loosing interest since they would be in 2K+$$$ range (supra owners are cheap asses and wont spend that kind of cash), looking around for new casting plant, Greg & family had some health issues.

I believe it is a back burner project now. Next time I go down there I'm going to talk to Greg about it, because I'm also interested where he is at on them. Probably during the MN meet (5-15-10)

what does the blitz tems controller actually do?
does it make it so you have all three setting at the touch of the button? soft, sport, and the third one like when you apply the brakes?

I was going to get mine in CF, but it wouldn't have looked right with white ass headlights, since I have a CF hood already..

I had some, with a vent in each. They didn't fit the way I wanted them, and it kinda put me off to the whole thing, traded them for a ct26..

Not sure...I haven't looked at in forever, It's brand new never installed. I'm assuming like the HKS but the harness on the Blitz one is wicked.

2 in the US of course. No in Japan it's not nearly as rare. Sorry sometimes I mean rare here. It goes the same with a lot of things in this thread.
