Depends on where you find them. Rarely any on eBay. Sometimes you get lucky.

I keep and eye on writes offs that the insurance company sells. Ive already got 1 set of recaro interior. Im still looking for a second

There's lots of these, especially in vancouver.
I am guessing these companies get these used cars for peanuts from japan, particularly because they fail newer emission standards, and then they sell them here for a whole lot more.
I guess its the spirit of capitalism, but i suppose i personally am not business minded and have a problem making a buck off of someone else. Particularly when you consider the fact that you pretty much have to change the dash, steering column rack, brake lines, headlights, without which they're IMO dangerous to be sold to the public North America.
And they're really not worth the 20000 after the conversion.
What am i saying exactly? i just dont like these guys selling grey market imports.

PS: i think a lot of people share this position, because i have seen that car for sale at that dealership for at least 6 months, possibly a year. (they also have another one like this)

i agree in every single way. Cool for track cars maybe. But they are dangerous on public roads

Please don't start another RHD vs LHD debate. These never go anywhere.

Fair enough, just going on the price tag, i think they're not worth it for the public, unless of course you're a supra fan/collector and in that case they're priced accordingly.

all i said was i agree, and stated a reason behind it. I think RHD is pretty fucking cool. I just see alot of oung kids buy RHD cars and hurt themselves and others, causing accidents. Origonaly RHD cars were allowed becasue they were a "collecter item" and were rare to see on the roads. Now weve got dozons of dealerships selling nothing buy RHD vehicles. I would like to see them converted, but then the price factor comes into play. Im going to stop before this turns into the debate neither of us want, sorry
