hey, just planning on doing a new exhaust on my car.. can I go straight pipe all the way back to the muffler or should I put the converter back in?? its a 92 1jz twin turbo

Do you mean just using piping all the way from the DP to the muffler? If so, yes you can. I'm running a 935 DIY 3" exhaust system with a Megan Racing GT muffler on my 87 1J. Here's what it sounds like (back when I had my 90, setup is now in my 87).

Custom built flushmounts. I have a new setup that's waiting to be installed. If you want one, you're going to have to figure it out for yourself.
