Currently trying to finish up my first engine swap. I've slowly been converting my 86.5 7mge to 7mgte. The previous owner drove the car with a BHG(when I pulled the head the engine was filled with coolant hence the swap) then tried to fix it himself and did a hacked up job with the wiring and sensors.

Now I'm trying to figure out where some of the conncetions go to. There are a few on the chassis the dont seem to fit anything on the harness and vice versa. I've able to get this far thanks to the wealth of knowledge of the poeple on SM but I cant seem to figure this one out.
DCFC0013.jpgThis one left side not to far from firewall.

DCFC0011.jpgthis by cruise control actuator.

DCFC0014.jpgthe ones circled above, one other 2 I assume goes to the one above the brake cylinder.

DCFC0012.jpgthen these two next to the battery.

I'm using the GTE engine harness. I figured out where the white ones on each side go. I stumbled across across Bishops pics and noticed that the TEMS is missing. Also I found a missing resistor pack on the right side. I dont know WTF the previous owner was thinking. Question do have to change the ignitor from the n/a to turbo for it to work properly? And also do I have to mount the power steering reservoir where the turbo one is mounted?

GTE ignition different than GE so use the GTE ignitor.

Power steering reservoir: Depends on how creative you can be. A lot of people here have relocated the reservoir but otherwise if you're doing a stock swap, the n/a reservoir will be in the way of the intercooler piping.

I forgot to ask since the TEMS is not installed and the suspense is still stock will it affect handling? Also since the engine is out of the car I want to retorque the head but for the pattern should I just by as if I were putting on a new one or just a new one all together?

Grim you've got a lot of questions that would best be answered by searching. There are thousands of threads on headgaskets and retorquing. As for the suspension...after looking again at one of the pictures you posted, your car does not appear to be equipped with TEMS.
Only turbos and na sport packages had that option. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

Where did you get your gte engine from? Has it been rebuilt lately? More pics?

It does have TEMS it has the switch in the car the the connections on each side of the car. As for the headgasket what I was trying to get at was that if I were to retorque it would it use the same pattern
