The numbers stamped on the side of the connecting rod at the big side, what are they?
I've looked thru the tsrm for a bit but couldn't find anything. I know the pistons have numbers that dictate their sizes, figured this is the same.
I really don't wanna have to rebuild this engine a 3rd time...

Theres numbers on the side that correspond to the size of big end you have on that rod. There are however also numbers on the rod in various places that have nothing to do with it, therefore it is fairly confusing to tell you whihc one to look at without a pic. You really should not be using those numbers anyways though, you should measure the rod and match it up to the chart. Also, there are no markings from the factory to indicate rod position, any marks that correspond to cylinder number have been done by someone else.
