Haven't written in a while but i feel motivated...
I had no idea Duane's car was going to be in SCC. I picked up my copy as usual (not expecting to see anything of real interest to me) and I almost shit! I drove home like a hundred miles an hour and ran to my house to read it.
IMHO none of those garage queens Duane was up against really fit the bill. As Duane said his car is the only one that drove 1400 miles to get there, and if that wasn't enough they screwed him on the dyno test cause apearantly they couldn't get the dyno set-up right. As a result Duane could only run like 23 lbs of boost. Shitty deal!
However, much to Duane's credit his car was more than respectible in all areas. Frankly, I don't think these SCC guy's know their ass from a hole in he ground. Let them have their ugly boxy subaru's and overpriced srt's I'll take Duane's Supra anytime over any of those shitboxes. GOOD JOB DUANE!!!
