So I'm going to be bolting on all my turbo parts I have onto my GE block. The only thing I'm confused about is how to run my oil return line. From what I've read people tap into the oil pan which is obvious but what do you do with the stock oil feed and return lines? Can you put new fitting in the turbo and put like flare nuts on and make your own lines or what? I sound like an idiot i'm just having trouble explaining what I mean. If you guys would post some pics of your setup that would be awesome.

The artical i got this pic from said it was a na block no idea but if the bosses are there and I "THINK" they are.. this is one idea..The Oil sending unit.. just use it. get a T fitting use it for oil feed to turbo.. Just a sujestion..the return you can drill and tap the block.. not to hard to do..On mine I used part of oil pump pick ups off a vw engine.. they had a flange and pipe that was close enough..
If its a stock ct-26 and manifold. You could just get factory lines and drill tap block..
Just sujestions...

i know that stuff i want to know what you guys did to the stock oil feed and return lines on the turbo to make them work. the piece that has a hard line with a banjo fitting and the big pipe with the flex area on it. do you get rid of that and make new fittings or do you modify those?

i already have all the lines i was just trying to figure out how to make them work. i have a full turbo engine but i'm rebuilding the gte block, I'm just going to run boost on the ge until it blows up.

now MDC since the ge block doesn't have the flange fitting on the block where the return is supposed to go, could i cut the flange off of the return line with about 1.5" left on it and take the block off plate off the other flange looking thing right next to the motor mount and put on the return flange right there and then run a rubber hose from where i cut to the flange, or is that covering a special gallery?

Does the NA block have the bosses for the return and feed ?
Is motor in car ?
got any pics ?

no it doesn't it has the area on the block thats flat where they would have put it but its just solid cast iron for the return that is. for the feed it didn't look like there were any plugs which would just be plugging it, unless they used the same hole for the oil pressure sending unit on the ge blocks. yes i have the engine in the car and its to hard to take any good pics.

No. Ian (IJ) already covered this.

That other block off plate (the one that says 7m) covers a pressurized oil galley.

Your options are to either drill and tap the slug where the 7mgte drain is cast, or drill and tap the pan for a -10 bung.
