There is a video floating around somewhere of a MKIII with a supercharger (can't recall which) and either a Holset HX-52 or HX-55 some guys in Germany did a few years ago. They were having all sorts of trouble going in a straight line from 4k rpm and up. I cannot seem to find this video from a while ago.

For this sort of setup you'd be foolish to have anything but a full standalone. Piggy back a setup like this and you're likely to be piggy backing a ride back home...

Keep it cold enough? It's not a problem with the BL kit. I doubt it would be a problem for anybody on pump or E85 levels of boost on most any motor.

Besides, there are titanium wheels and water injection ;)

Sequential is it not using a small turbo until the bigger turbo is spooled? Better curve not all at once.

1j is a true twin one fails you have nothing.

Actually, you have one turbo that has to work that much harder to generate the desired pressure level. Happened to me when I found my front turbo's wastegate was disconnected at the actuator arm, flapping all that air down the exhaust...

Stock 2j is not a compound setup. Uses a smaller turbo to get power until the bigger turbo spools up and then it is parrell like the 1j.

Compound setup a smaller turbo spools the bigger turbo.

If parrell why does it have an air by pass valve. Have you looked at a Toyota service manual for the operation of this setup. Or find out why there are not that many boost controllers that can correctly operate with this setup?
