This is about a 2 year project, THis motor makes the 36in tires feel like nothin, love the torque
86 4runner
7mgte+custom made bellhousing + R151F trans + dual transfercase

3in Turboback exhaust
HKS intake
Boost controller 10 psi
custom rebuilt turbo by Jeff at Notrice.com ( he did some upgrade to it but I forgot :icon_lol: )
It took me about 1 year to do the swap and another year for fix all the wiring griminins, It has been a PITA!! to get to run right, but I think Im finally complete.

nice work. my dad wants to do this to his 4runner, but i dont if anyone has used the auto in it or not for that swap.

do you have any more pics of the truck? like full side shots.

yeah i owned one of these mad units, the power is awesome and the torque is
nuts.mine used to spin at up to 80kph because i only had 32" tyres..Have you broken much stuff yet? I went through a few g52 boxes and a couple of diffs so i decied to get rid of it.Have you ever tried going shooting in it and removing the hard top, useing the rear roll bar for a gun rest? Works great:biglaugh:

Nice work! I'm in the final stages of gathering parts to build a high compression 7mgte for my '94 Toyota 4x4. :) (using N/A pistons) That 'runner looks like LOADS of fun!
