I like it a lot, but can you write condense that into 10,000 words or less?
I grew a beard half way through reading it! :biglaugh:

I will likely make it smaller. It's redundant in spots, but it's trying to hammer a point home so that even the most dense can get it...

It's a difficult balance to maintain.

I'll probably work on it this weekend. I spend this past weekend out in the woods target shooting with various weapons, so I had no time for SM this past weekend.

I'm torn on this one:

Stupid:
HELP!!!

Smart:
HKS SSQV doesn't blow off

Smarter:
HKS SSQV Blow-Off Valve doesn't blow off after hard pipe install

Sometimes the vague but catchy post headers get twice as much attention as posting a fairly simple question.

Quality vs quantity.

Remember the goal of the post. Attracting your most skilled members.

I won't waste my time on a post with the subject of "Help me PLEASE!!!!1111", and I know a lot of others won't either.

Added to that is that good titles add the ability for someone to find the post later so they can get help as well.

You might attract attention, but do you really want attention from the guy who will post the reply:

"i heard that ne 1 putting the BOV on needs to make the hose on the fuel line for it to work. mebe tahts it? ok bye"

Your call. :)

I come from a land down under
I try to help as much as I can and If I don't know an answer will spend a bit of time researching so I can give an accurate answer and not a guess.

It's rare I give up on someone and even in his last days here I tried to help Siman even taking our "history" into account.

Now and again we get someone who is a total waste of space but it's getting rare these days!

I look at it as passing some knowledge along that I've picked up over the years and as I have no kids, my nephew isn't interested and none of the young guys around here are into cars like I was as a kid I figure you can all suffer my help ;)!
