Well one thing is for damn sure anywhere i go anyone here see's it they will KNOW how it is. Will help avoid the threads who was driving that white 87 on I-90 lol. Lexus has a nice yellow also not so in your face as the GM yellow.

Hahaha, that is very true. I have the only running Mk3 around here, at least that's driven with any frequency, so I don't get mistaken often. Except for a friend of mine, briefly confused my car with a F430 because of the color being close...

I believe the Lexus color you speak of was on the IS300 only...

Well when i started it i was very torn between the 2, But after seeing the massive swing to blue and looking at more supra pictures then i care to admit i had to remember i am not one of the sheep. I do have a blue color selected code an cost. But do i really want to BE another blue supra?? honestly no. I was surprised at the difference in votes. It is funny how people who go to such extreme's to change under the hood from what God ( Toyota ) intended to wanting everything to be as close to stock on the exterior. Now if you have a 87,88 and do not upgrade your front an rear to 89+ you get a lot of negative remarks. now toss on anything the consider (Ricer) an more negative remarks. I have decided to leave me 87 looking like a 87 that's its identity and how i shall leave it. ( i do like the 89+ tails) So when all is said and done i will probably coat my car in something i like and makes it stand out. I will probably not post pictures of it here as it will just incite a bunch of negative remarks from narrow minded people who cant see outside of the box. I see a lot of things on cars here but refuse to tear down what someone else is proud of and enjoys. Example ( those but ugly wheels off a 93+)

Thanks to all those who helped with pictures and color's it really is a big decision but then again not something i can not change at a later date.

You shouldn't let others remarks sway your decision on your car at all...unless it's going to be in a car show or something of the sort, than you'd have to accept their opinions, otherwise, screw'em.

BTW: I have a thing for 86.5-88

I think they're much cleaner, but it's just my opinion.

well it should go to the paint shop tomorrow, Will post a pic when its all done. I am back on the fence over the color so its up in the air what color it comes back. Has anyone had much luck painting the interior plastic trim? Any ideas on the head liner an color changes there? I could make some changes then an not be so limited, Already planing to re do all the seats an door panels.

SEM makes some interior paints and prep that works awesome, I've used it with great results. As for the headliner, take it to an upholstery shop and have them recover it in whatever color you want. They did a great job on mine, and it hasn't come apart.
