Cold Start injector problem. Power drain too.

So my cold start injector is not doing it's job. My mechanic used a doo-hickey to cycle it so that works. Also, the hose is not clogged. It is most definitely connected.

When trying to start, you can feel it does nothing. Therefore, cold starting takes AGES.

I'm assuming this means it's not getting told to start. Where should I look next?

Also, I have a power drain somewhere, so my battery always goes flat overnight. Any ideas where I should check first?

Thanks in advance

What should I expect? The wires over there looked connected when I last looked. Should I buy a replacement switch? If so, where would I get it?

Lol...now that's entertainment.

As has been correctly pointed out try the book or look here for an explanation of how the thing works:

If that doesn't help you may need to jack up the radiator cap and roll another car under it...

He's just alluding to replacing your car if all else fails.

For the power drain, check in the rear hatch to see if the little switched light back there is on. How old is your battery? It could just be going out and losing its ability to hold a charge for long periods of time.

take it somewhere that will check it for free like autozone, have them charge it and they'll be able to tell you what % it can be charged to and whether or not it is holding the charge.
