Been going down the list of why my Supra won't start and I'm at my coil-overs. There is no continuity going through them on a test when I crank. My plugs were horrible and I replaced them, my fuel pump is working, but when it cranks vapors emit slowly from the tail pipe which leads me to believe it's not firing. I checked the coil-overs, hopefully this will fix it, and they look bad. Any good ideas where to find resonable prices on coil-overs? I hope this fixs the problem because I have to use my girls other car to get to the range, a couger, I miss the Supra power.

They're just called coils. Coilovers are suspension parts ;)

Check your CPS. The pins in the plug could be worn, and it may not be sending the ECU a signal to fire. Wiggle the connector and try to crank it over again. If still nothing, check the CPS via the TSRM.
Report back :D

Coilover is also an ignition part also. Coilover plugs are very common now. Think of the V6 Camry, and the coil that sits right on the plug.

Coilover just isn't a common term for ignition. Most just call it the coil.

edit: Coil on plug is the term. It just came back.

Yeah I almost broke that little ground wire when I was removing the coils the first time, can't even see it that good. I had to bend it back in shape. I'll run a check on my codes for a 14, man I need a day off to fix my supra!
