Codes 31/51

31 is AFM, 51 is TPS how would i go about finding the exact cause of the problem?

My idle at operating temp. some time rizes to about 1200rpm when i come to a stop. Could that be caused by these codes

My current set to give more of an idea of what im running.

K&N FIPK
3.5 downpipe (?? brand)
test pipe
Apex-i Safc-II (zero'd out)

By using the Hz scale of your DVOM to see what the meter is telling the ECU. And adjust the TPS so the idle contacts are closed at idle.

Yep.

Any smoke or backfire?

And befor you go looking for a new AFM, you need to condem yours. Make sure it is not a connection problem.

no smokw or back fire, but a slight poping sound when i down shift and use engine compression to slow down.
