ok, im really getting a little weary with this car. driving up to my parents house yesterday, (bout 60 miles up to the foothills) my cars cel came on. i arrive at my parents house, pull the codes... wtf, 4 all at once? is this possible?

the knock sensors..replaced both sensors and wiring,
air flow meter..it is possible that is a legit code..but all at once?
intake temp...wtf is that?
and o2 sensor...that has also been rewired, and is a new sensor. also tested on a machine, its good.

sooo....what the hell is going on, i cleared the codes and drove home..nuthin, other than blowing my ic couplers off again, lol. any ideas as to what may be causing this too happen? bad ground's? maybe to the ecu? idk, HELP!!!!! :1zhelp:

AFM + Intake Temp usually means AFM unplugged. The temp sensor is in the same sensor box.

Other two, check wiring. O2 sensor = heater, and know sensors are usually wiring. Might also try clearing codes and see if they come back.

ah, ok, i did not know the afm did the temp sensor also, i will just replace that thing. and this fkin o2 sensor is really gettin on my nerves. i will check all the wiring today, make sure the heater circut is functioning prporly. i know the sensor is working, had it hooked to a machine and can see it ocilate.

and the kncock sensors...well....i can check the wiring again, but my buddy and i just got though re wiring most of under the hood. but never hurts to check.

could it be ANYthing else? like a ground? i know these cars have shitty grounds.

Our cars have fine grounds, it's just people removing or disconnecting them...

Don't have to change the AFM as the codes together usually mean it's unplugged or there is a fault in the wiring.

Reset the codes and tell us if they are still the same. Is it still running well? through the whole RPM band?

it is running great. runs smooth down the freeway. idle's ok, im very picky so it has a little miss that kills me at idle, but its smooth if im honest.

as far as old codes thats not possible. i always keep the ecu clear of codes just for that reason. and i know for a fact there was no stored codes cause i had cleared the o2 code a few weeks ago. right now im going to tear down the top half due to the damn thing getting air bubbles in the cooling. gonna check head torque. i will post an update this weekend.

A blown i/c pipe would result in 3/4 of those codes. Not sure about the knock sensor tho.

ya, i blew the i/c couplers off on the way home after the cel light came on and after i cleared them. idk, im taking the whole top end off, checking head torque, and re doing the i/c piping. we'll see, idk. probly gonna sell it with my n/a if this doesnt work, frustrating with all the money and time i have in it. :3d_frown:

universal 02 sensors are a no no in my book especially if its a bosch. You have to have the correct length so that the resistance doesn't change. If its a bosch then just toss it and get a NTK or denso (OEM type with plug). I had have nothing but bad luck with bosch products.... I end up buying denso or NTK(NGK) and spend more money to solve a defective manufacturer part.

correct length? as in the wires? this is an oem i have in there, only thing i did was replace the end on sensor and engine side to a gm style 3 prong plug. but on the scope all looks great.
