Whoops, I was even thinking about that as I was writing that post but somehow it got left out; good catch.

I just removed both connectors and measured them with GND as my reference. Both measured exactly the same. I slightly bent and flexed on them and had no intermittent issues. Not at that point anyway...

What I found with the front KS was it was completely covered in oil from a nice crack/split in the oil return hose that is coming out of the valve cover. It saturated the connector such that it was inside. My thought is that the oil either caused a slight short or higher resistance than the ECU liked.

I cleaned both connectors with some Non-Corosive Conductive Contact Cleaner that I had in my shop.

I cleared the codes and currently the car is warming up. We'll see what happens from here!
