good news, bad news
good news- rewired with the rg58 wire and i do not have a cel anymore
bad news- the hesitation is still there, but not as bad.
i am going to check out the cps and make sure it is ok and in spec.

ok i will and let you all know what comes out. anyone know a shortcut to the fsm tps set page. i could not find it in the online fsm. thanks

here is what my tps measures as follows;
0mm--vta-e2= .73 ohm k
.5mm--idl-e2= 0 (does not move at all, this is what the other tps sensors i have for the pickups does as well. just reads 0)
.9mm--idl-e2= 0 the same as above for results.
fully open--vta-e2= 4.67 ohms k
-- vc-e2= 6.22 ohms k

is the idl-e2 reading look right? they dont move at all. but i have multiple tps sensors still on throttle bodies for the 22re and 3vze and they are said to be the same spec.
i am going to go take another video.

so i adjusted the tps with the .9mm gauge in there. i tapped it until it read infinity/open.
i am starting to think it is the tps. when it does rev over and i keep the rpms up 3k and up there is a off/on very fine line between throttle OPEN and throttle CLOSED for throttle response.
i will try to post up a video tomorrow afternoon trying to show what i am talking about. there is no bringing up the amount of throttle above 3k. it is kind of like full throttle or no throttle. you will see.
thanks for all of the help with this big pain in the A$$ i am having. but other than the problem this motor is a freaking beast. wow.....

in second gear revving over the 1800-2800 hiccup dead spot. once i rev over it will accelerate no problem but if i hold the throttle steady it accelerates like i have the petal down. so the petal is just barely pressed or throttle open. boost/vacuum is the right gauge and left gauge is oil pressure.
also i can hear a "whirrsh" noise like the waste gate opening under this acceleration sometimes. and it shows no boost (still vacuum in the - numbers) could this be a boost leak that is blowing by the hose somewhere that i have not found while the turbine housing is above the boost hoses to the engine and the rest is pushing out?? the or wtf??

well i swapped the tps for another one i had from a 22re that was the same part #.
it seemed to help some. but i could usually accelerate hard through the 2-3k spot.
but still does it. i get correct reading on all of the test points now unlike the other original one. so that is good, but still bad.
i might buy a new one and put it in there and see if it acts the same or not and return it if it still acts up.

i am going to start another thread since the code 52 is gone and it is a solid hesitation issue now.
replaced the tps with a new one and adjusted perfect to spec. it acted the same as with the last used one i replaced the original one with.
i will post a link to the new thread.
SO IN SUMMARY - REWIRED THE KNOCK SENSORS WITH RG58 FROM RADIO SHACK FOR $0.79 PER FOOT. THAT FIXED THE CEL FOR 52

ended up being bad wiring from the tps to the ecu. ran new wires from the tps to the afm/eng temp sensor and ecu. fixed the problem
