On my way home from work (a rare occasion when i drive my supra to work) my check engine light came on during the last five miles home. So I got home, stripped a wire I had lying around and connected TE1 and E1.

Annd... "2...5... ok 25. wait! 2... 6...
hmmm... aren't those the codes for lean and rich?" lol

So I checked on tsrm and they are the lean and rich codes.

Anybody else have experience with getting both these codes at the same time? Is it indicative of anything besides my need for a safc? (which im buying tomorrow!)

Is it possible that you've run both lean AND rich, and they're just stored codes? I mean, from a physical standpoint, you couldn't show both at the same time, unless you have a sensor at every exhaust port...

It can be a few other things, I had the same issue, can't remember but I'll look into my records and see I I can dig it up

Ian FTW! I pulled the plugs and all were very oily, from the valve seals i need to replace (happening next week but I thought my plugs would last.) Fresh NGK's in. I pulled the EFI fuse for 30 sec to reset the code and it didn't come back today with 50 miles of commuting.
