So I just bought a white package 91 turbo with the check engine light on. I got it into diagnostic mode and came up with code 21 which is oxygen sensor. Are these available anywhere? Are they hard to replace? Sorry I'm new to this particular problem.

Wherever you decide to get a sensor, buy a Denso brand one.
On these cars, the o2 has to be pretty much dead to set a code, so you'll likely notice a change for the better once its replaced.

Also is there more than one oxygen sensor? I thought there was one on the exhaust pipe somewhere underneath the car.
Thanks for the help.

In California, there are two sensors. Probably worthwhile to replace both.

When replacing the one behind the turbo, make sure the parts guys give you the right one. It has 3 wires. I've seen *many* problems where the parts guys try to sell you the NA version with only a single wire, so check it before you leave the store.

Only Cali N/A cars have a sub sensor. USDM GTEs of any flavor (Cali and Federal) do not.

umm, so is there 1 or 2 sensors? lol
I live in California.

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
Lets try this again: on a turbo engine there is no sub sensor. Either RTFM or slither under the car and look. I would've done that before asking a bunch of yahoos on the internet but hey, that's just me.

Btw nobody "lives" in California, they only exist there. Actual living has long been outlawed by the state...

Tell me about it. I can't even leave my car parked in the same spot for three days without the fuzz considering it as "abandoned". Wtf?
