code 12

having issues all the way around! so I have got the car to start a couple times idle then dies when I touch the throttle. after a busy couple weeks at work, went to fiddle with it some more, and now it tries to starts but doesnt, it throws a code 12, I rechecked the gaps on the the cps they are good and same with the ohms all are 159 at the ecu. so my question would be is it a bad cam position sensor? or am I missing something? just would really like to get this thing on the road!

Did you check your tps to make sure it was up to spec?

Also it could be bad wires at the cps. Have someone crank it while you wiggle the wire harness at the cps.

I had adjusted the tps, i havent checked to make sure it is still in spec, will that cause the code 12? I have got rid of the factory connector at the cps, and they are good not loose! Continuity from the cps? Yes the resistance is 159ohms be tween g- to g1, g-to g2 and g- to ne!
