driftmotion sells a adapter to use cobra brakes, i have been looking on forum to see if anyone has used this setup and what did they think?
-Is it worth the time and effort?
-i assume parts are easy to find? (calipers and pads)
-stainless soft lines have to be custom?

I have this setup, and I say its well worth the money.

Its really not that much effort.. Its just like any other BBK to install, and the kit from driftmotion has better hubcentric rings apparently; which i had a problem with on the original kit from Doward [guy who made the kit, you can actually find this kit in the group buy section].

But like I said I feel they're definitely worth it.

Never heard of this setup. What year cobra? And what is really needed? Cobra calipers, rotors, and custom brackets?

I got the driftmotion kit for my car. Haven't got rotors pads and calipers yet.

The bbk kit worries me on cost of pads and rotors so I was looking into cobra brakes. I was just curious what the cobra setup can stand. Ill do some auto cross and it will be a daily with 400 hp
Plans are to redo bushings (energy suspension)
How about the master is it cappable of running cobra calipers?

I was thinking of ebc yellowstuff pads and upgraded slotted rotors. Wonder how the cobra setup compares to an upgraded oem setup.

Dont know the exact limitations on these. But id say that if the cobra and mach 1 guys are auto-crossing their cars with this setup with their cars weighing a lil more, its probably a suitable setup for another car of similar weight. As far as the master, there was a discussion about that somewhere when he was designing the kit; but if i remember correctly the change was very minor. It should be somewhere in one of the threads Doward made about the brakes if you look hard enough.
